This conference was THE major conference on the East Coast in 2012 for Clinical Documentation, with an agenda filled with experienced physicians, attorneys and Clinical Documentation Specialists. The conference featured highly respected subject matter experts who covered the latest developments in our field. Our theme "Tomorrow is Today" highlighted the need for developing real life solutions today to meet the ICD-10 challenges we face in the coming years.
I wish to express my sincere thanks to the AIHCD staff members who's tireless hours helped produce such a positive and rewarding experience for the attendees.
We will be posting material from the conference soon.
Be sure to check back often!

In this sweeping climate of health care reform and compliance, with emphasis on physician documentation explicit documentation and coding is imperative. Unfortunately, providing exceptional and competent patient care will not ensure reimbursement, if collaboration with explicit documentation that captures severity of illness, medical necessity and justifies consumption of resources is not communicated within the medical record. DocuComp LLC is an established health care education and compliance organization dedicated to empowering physicians through documentation education.DocuComp LLC's diligence, experience and innovative teaching methods have equipped many institutions, practitioners and health care personnel with the tools required to achieve quality patient care while capturing severity of illness, medical necessity, and intensity of service and justification of resource consumption, to obtain appropriate reimbursement.
